Essentialise - An online women’s circle about getting to the heart of things
Sunday, 28thApril at 7:30 pm Sydney time via Zoom
(I thought I might have made up this word but was somewhat relieved to see that it has been in the English language since at least the 1660s.)
One of the things I love about Autumn is to watch the leaves change colour and fall away. It’s a kind of poetic expression of the way that nature prepares for the scarcity and stillness of winter by releasing what it doesn’t need, only holding on to what it does.
While I’m no minimalist (anyone who has seen my book, crystal or plant collections would laugh at the thought), I really like this idea of getting to the heart of things, connecting to what really matters.
How do we discern what’s really important?
How do we hold on to what we really care about?
How do we release the things that are weighing us down or holding us back?
As always, I don’t pretend to have the answers, but we’ll learn a lot by leaning into the questions.
In our next online women’s circle we’ll be turning inwards and connecting with what really matters to us, and contemplating what might need to fall away (and how we can go about doing that).
I hope you’ll join the circle!
